Snow Kiting is easier than kitesurfing. Although you need a Kite that you can launch. Bow style Four line inflatables do work for snow kites.  Also most people prefer a kite they don't have to pump up in the cold. The new depower systems are working great on the ram air kites. The best snow kites are the ram air 4 line kites like the Naish & Ozone frenzy. They have the most range. You can use a 2 line kite but they have only a 10 MPH wind range. We use about a 5 to 10 meter most of the time.
New bow kites and 5 lines inflatables will also relaunch in the snow.
