Fanatic Shark 2011

Biax and Carbon Kevlar/Basalt Sandwich Light Technology

Top quality and high-tech specification Biax Carbon has a perfect weight to stiffness ratio as a result of it´s very fine weave, plus has fantastic dynamic flex. In combination with PVC Sandwich Technology and Glass reinforcements, it provides a perfect stiffness/flex/weight ratio on the Falcon Slalom line. We used the same basic construction for our Freeride Limited Edition boards, except that on the deckwe have a full Carbon Kevlar layuo which has a better shock absorbing character than pure carbon, for more comfort, whilst offering a very stiff and light performance, which is needed for these high performance Freeride/FreeRace boards (Shark LTD/Hawk LTD/Ray LTD). On the bases of the LTD boards we have the new innovative Basalt cloth, a cloth which is not only technically superior to many other standard cloths, but also environment friendlier in both the creation and re-cycling thereof. All of these models are produced with the light finish sanded look, for extra weight savings, whilst the new polished and airbrushed rails and bases are the ultimate optic for 2011!

High Resistance Skin

High resistance composite technology – an optimum weight and durable construction for every-day use. A thick, durable outer skin gives the board hull a high strength, ding and impact resistance. Strategic use of glass reinforcements ensures an adequate stiffness. Used on the standard Shark, as well as on the Viper/Ripper ranges in combination with a user friendly EVA deck.

JP SUPER SPORT Top Rated 2011

THRILLING SPEED AND CARVING JIBES

They won basically all magazine tests and received great consumer feedback so there was no need to change the shapes.

Slalom-oriented with great planing and maneuver characteristics.

Most performance oriented riders today think in board width and not so much in volume categories. That is why the Super Sports are named after their width – just like the JP Slalom boards.

SHAPE

Slightly fuller rails add volume to the board and allow reduced thickness around the center. The low mast base position gives endless control even when totally maxed out. The rail shape also makes the stance much more comfortable.

Great light wind performance because of full rails and special rocker line.

The bigger sizes have slightly longer board lengths which makes them great early planing boards.

The rather parallel outline in the midsection gives the boards superior straight-line control and the low nose rocker prevents the boards from being lifted at high speed.

Additional outline curve between the footstraps allows the rider to master high speed carving jibes. Even during tight turns, the boards maintain good grip and momentum allowing you to comfortably accelerate out of every jibe.

They also come with the JP channel bottom. The combination of the straight rocker line in the channel and the additional curve to the left and right of the channel supplies the unmatched combination of great maneuverability and high speed. The additional V within the channel provides great control.

SUMMARY

Super fast Freeride boards for advanced riders. They supply an aggressive, electric feeling and breathtaking acceleration – also in light winds. Lots of top-end control and great carving jibe abilities

JP XCITE RIDE  Top Rated 2010

PRO EDITION In Carbon Kevlar Technology with G10 fins. Super Limited Silver Finish.
FULL WOOD SANDWICHTechnology with Limited Finish.

SPORTY, EASY, FAST AND FUN

Since the boards received really good tests and consumer comments we decided to leave the shapes unchanged for 2010. They are very sporty but at the same time offer great easy surfing, comfort and control.

SHAPE

The relative straight outline curve in the midsection delivers great control.

Quite a lot of curve in the outline between the straps makes them easy to maneuver. High speed carving jibes, tight turns and changing the jibe radius comes naturally.

The boards jump on the plane even with a passive sailing style, no pumping required!

A slightly fuller rail shoulder around the middle of the board provides additional buoyancy and helps the rider to get planing quicker. When used in the sporty set up, this adjustment creates a comfortable and efficient sailing position. All boards offer foot strap options satisfying beginners to expert!

Reduced thickness lowers the position of the mast base and improves the board control in overpowered conditions.

Additional curve in the mid section of the scoop rocker line delivers even acceleration. They easily plane through lulls and offer a smooth transition from non-planing all the way up to full-speed.

They come with the JP channel bottom between the foot straps for extra lift and grip in straight line sailing. The combination of the straight rocker line in the channel and the additional curve to the left and right of the channel supplies the unmatched combination of great maneuverability and high speed. The additional V within the channel provides great control.

The boards feel small, light and agile throughout the whole wind range making them perfect multipurpose free ride boards.

SUMMARY

Their name describes them well - easy surfing, instant fun, high performance freeride boards. Anybody will enjoy them from short board beginners to sporty experts.

RRD FREESTYLE WAVE 2010
Freestyle Wave
Features:

We introduced a new hull design with a full V, without any deep concaves and just minor concaves in the middle just to make sure the V is a really flat V when the board comes out of the mould. We introduced a new rocker line, a little bit higher in the front and straighter in the middle point between the front foot and the back foot strap. This allows the boards to feel more like wave boards and perform like a real freestyle boards. The feeling as soon as you touch the board is like having a really small and compact wave board but at the same time the planing capacity increased compared to last year. Outlines are completely new with narrower tails and noses. We redesigned a proper volume distribution with the latest tendency of shape design, and we reduced fin sizes quite significantly: 1 cm on all the sizes, except the small size. A shorter and more compact feel for 2010 to guarantee more top end performance.

Technology:

X-Tech: EPS/Glass/SX 42 hi density sandwich foam covered by wood sandwich skin on top and bottom with a Glass laminated in Single Shot moulding process.

Fantic Viper 2011

For Your First Steps and Ever After
At Fanatic we’re lucky to have a vast network of windsurfing schools to consult. This vital high feedback on beginner and family board demands helps us fast track your journey to a lifetime of windsurfing pleasure. Bucking the trend for short and wide boards, our advisors have heavily influenced the Vipers’ mix of modern concepts and proven shapes. Thinner outline and finely tuned CAD stretched power rocker curves guarantee a long waterline - essential for stealthy sub-planing performance and joyous first-time planing experiences. A daggerboard system vastly increases light air motion, and upwind pointing while adding crucial stability when cruising.

With plenty of footstrap positions to choose from and the help of our tuning kit, the Viper switches to an exciting Funboard for more advanced riders. A custom foam insert seals-off the deck and underside. Add a 50cm Freeride GFK fin and in seconds you’re ready to fly. Available in four sizes, 70, 75, 80 and 85cm wide all featuring High Resistance Skin (HRS) and Softdeck construction
