Ski and Snowboard Prep for Wet Sticky Spring Conditions

Ski and Snowboard Prep for Wet Sticky Spring Conditions with Wet Snow.

Wet spring snow acts like two wet panes of glass with water between them. They create suction and you cannot pull them apart.

Try scratching the bottoms with a brass fill cleaning brush from tip to tail. This will open up the ski’s pores or the snowboard pores.

Will not help if the hill has pine tree pollen, which is yellow or black snow caused from snow making. Clean the bottoms off with mineral spirits to remove the sticky items.
